U.S. military develops solar tent to generate electricity

The U.S. military has recently developed a new type of solar tent. The top of the tent is covered with a thin film of amorphous silicon instead of the common hard solar panels and can be folded easily. According to the size of its paved area, the power generation ranged from 800 watts to 3,000 watts. In areas with sufficient sunshine such as deserts, it can meet the daily power consumption of a small army. Although the details of this technology have not yet been revealed, its development prospects are very broad.
